Our reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative glass solutions is unmatched, and we continue to set industry standards through our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

Arab Union Glass was founded in 1963 by Mr. Sobhy El-Genedy, a self-made man with a vision of creating a legacy of exceptional glass processing that would endure for generations to come. The story started with just a small workshop and a handful of employees in Cairo.

Mr. Sobhy set out to deliver the highest quality products and customer experience in an era when such values were still foreign.

Mr. Sobhy was not only a skilled entrepreneur but also a leader with a strong sense of social responsibility. He created a culture of appreciation and care for his employees, treating them like family and ensuring their physical and mental well-being. He also aimed to create lasting relationships with all his clients and employees, going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.

As his fame and reputation grew stronger, Mr. Sobhy expanded his production by opening new workshops and travelled to Germany to explore new production machines and techniques. Despite difficult times, the company exported its high-quality finished products to the Soviet Union (currently Russia) in the 1970s and expanded exports to Saudi Arabia in 1980.

In the early 1990s, Mr. Sobhy's scattered workshops were consolidated into a single factory in Abbasiya, materializing his long-cherished dream. Today, Arab Union Glass has multiplied into several factories all over Egypt, with a passion for providing high-quality glass products to its clients.

The company has the largest market share of frameless glass products in Egypt and is one of the top 5 companies in the country.

Arab Union Glass will always remain inspired and motivated by this spirit, which plays a crucial role in shaping our culture, growth and success.
